Writing at Home

Here I sit, in my natural state, in front of a desktop computer, writing. Writing is an invaluable part of my life, just like drawing, or singing, or acting…I really love to do it all. Today I am working on a pilot script that Matthew and I have in the works. It is going to be about a failing comedy club, and the kooky characters that work there. I love to write drama, especially military drama, but I LOVE writing comedy. Comedic characters give you so much freedom. And nothing feels better than sitting in a dark theater in the back row, hearing the audience splayed out in front of you, laughing. I’ve never done a comedy onscreen before though, so if it gets off the ground and we actually produce it, it will be a new experience for me. And I love new, exciting experiences!
