WHY I MADE IT

I filmed this short as realistically as possible; a tightly contained one-act that unfolds in real time. No cutaways, no flashbacks, just a domestic battleground between two people, where emotional manipulation and performative breakdowns blur together.

A dissection of ego erosion under the pressures of performance, failure, and quiet misogyny. The camera becomes a silent witness to a relationship collapsing.

Evokes the cinema verité aspect of the New Wave French filmmakers and the unpleasant voyeurism of a ‘90s found footage film.
