Christmas in San Francisco!

So I made it back to San Francisco in time for Christmas with my folks! We got our tree for TWENTY dOLLARS at Lowe’s on December 20th; all trees were 75% off! Another reason why it was so cheap was that they don’t tie it on the roof of your car for you. So instead, Cordelia, who knows how to do slip knots from horse back riding, tied it on the roof. And it stayed on the car the whole drive back to the house. THaNK GOD! Daddy and Cordelia did the lights (my dad is OBSESSIVE about the lights; must cover all the holes) and then Cordelia and I hung our ornaments. I think it all turned out quite well. We also went a little crazy on presents this year; I was determined to spoil my dad, mom, Cordelia, and Matthew, so I ended up going a little nutty and spending quite a bit. Worth it! This year has been stressful! All in all, although this year has been difficult, I’ve done okay myself. And I am proud of myself, and everyone I know who has gotten through this.
