Graduating from Marymount Manhattan College
So I graduated Marymount Manhattan College in 2018. I did my double major of Acting and Playwriting, with a minor in Art History. I also managed to graduate Summa Cum Laude, with Honors. I came to the college game a bit late; I spent a semester working in San Francisco to acclimate myself to the real adult world before returning to the cloisters of school once more. I was determined to graduate with my regular class however, so I worked hard and graduated in three and a half years, a semester early.
I’m very proud of my Marymount experience; I excelled in my grades, yes, but I also, at risk of sounding cliched, “learned so much.” I know, it’s cheesy. But under some truly talented professors like Antonio Suarez, Ellen Orenstein, Kenny Finkle, Mark Ringer, and Dr. Adrienne Bell, I was able to hone my acting and writing skills, while also pursuing my interest in art history and theater history. All in all, a great experience. I do proudly recommend the college to anyone who is interested (product placement!), although I will say that it IS what YOU make of it. Below is a picture of me and my girl who kept me sane through college, Olivia.
