Quarantine: Part 3

So we’ve been playing a lot of board games as well; Axis and Allies is the current game of choice. It’s like Risk but set in World War II, and you get to play either an Axis power country or an Allied power country. It kills time. A bigger killer than a Nazi Waffen-SS officer. Wow, bad joke, clearly I’m going a little crazy. It’s very intense, and like I said, takes all day, but it’s MADDENING. It is a nice reminder though, that humanity has gone through much worse than this current crisis and prevailed. The world survived the Germans declaring war on it. TWICE. Reminds me of that Norm MacDonald joke…great comedian. Anyway, if you have a dusty version of Axis and Allies in your garage, I highly recommend you play it.
