Halloween!

Today was Halloween! I realized that after a long month, I have done a TON since coming to LA. It makes me very proud, and I definitely know I made the right decision, moving to LA from NYC, the day after graduation.

So for Halloween, Matthew was the Wolfman (not Teen Wolf, so maybe Young Man Wolf?) and I was Final Girl (the girl trope who makes it through all the horror movies) because I was lazy and kind of just wanted to wear a dress and my orange puffy jacket. Matthew’s family has a tradition, where they dress up the house and Matthew gets on the roof and howls at the moon for all the little trick-or-treaters. So that’s what we did, instead of going out to Hollywood parties to get blotto or high. A little bit of clean fun instead! It was great fun to see all the kids go nuts for “the Wolf Man” and really reminded me again, that Halloween is kind of really for kids. Unless you go to a really fun, crazy Halloween party. Hard to find a truly good one, but when they’re good, they're truly memorable.
