Early Birthday!

So Matt’s parents threw me an early birthday party because for my actual birthday, we’re going to San Francisco. It was lovely, and Paula made me my favorite, coconut cake! Matthew got me some silkstone barbies as well! So the cat’s out of the bag; I collect Barbie dolls. Yes, I’m that weirdo. I join the ranks of many freaky 55 year old men who have weirdly patterned couches and never leave their one story homes. But I can’t help it! I collect vintage Barbies mostly (1959-1965) and that’s where the money is. One day I will have my original #1 Barbie from 1959 (they cost upwards of $30k). Now THAT’S an investment. Recently, I have started the Silkstone line, which was started in 2000, and was made for “the adult collector” (oh GOD I AM a weirdo!) I love their fashionable clothes, and they look so impressive! I would love to have clothes like that someday. I am upgrading my wardrobe from my days of being obsessed with Forever 21, little by little, so who knows!
