My BIRTHDAY!

So today is my BIRTHDAY! I am 24 years old today. Almost a quarter of a century. In ten years I’ll be 34 years old. And in 60 years, I’ll probably be dead. Huh. Makes you think, doesn’t it? All the little things I stress about won’t matter, most of the people I know and who remember me will be dead too. Isn’t that interesting? It’s happened to millions of people before us. All those people who thought they were special, you’re the one in a million who means something, who might cheat death. I can’t die. I’m me. How can I die? It’s almost unfathomable to think about. You being dead. And yet we all do it. It’s the universal leveller. In this time of conflict, with everyone fighting, maybe someone needs to remind everyone; ultimately, we all end up the same way. Mel Brooks had a classic hilarious line in one of his songs, “Live while you’re alive, no one will survive.” It’s true. No one survives life. So why do we waste so much time arguing? It ultimately doesn’t matter if that person next to you agrees with you or not. You’ll both be lying next to each other soon, covered in dirt. No more arguing.

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY haha!! I’m happy today, it’s my birthday, and I got lots of well wishes from my friends, and I got to spend time with people I love. That’s all that matters really. And I got some presents, cause that matters MOST haha. I feel lucky and blessed that we are all safe and healthy, and I had a delicious meal. Live while you’re alive, no one will survive.
